Collection: Adele's Mohair

Adele's story is a beautiful one, filled with passion for yarn and a real love of colour. Adele and the ladies from the Eastern Cape who joined her on the creative journey, make the most wonderful yarns - mostly mohair from Angora goats, but also including other fibres such as wool, silk, alpaca and bamboo. 

These are wonderful hand crafted yarns - with spinning, dyeing, winding and brushing all happening by hand at the farm. And all of this with the most gentle effect on the environment possible - only using vinegar during the dying process. They even collect all scrap yarn and wind the bits into 'magic yarn balls'.
